About the
Classroom
We want this first classroom
experience to be exciting and fun. We explore as many varied
activities as possible – painting, sorting, counting, coloring,
grouping, graphing, etc. We practice letters and sounds, numbers,
and counting, shapes and colors, listening and talking.
Other Things to
Know
- We have our own space in the
portable building next to the school. We also use one of the
kindergarten classrooms in the school building for some of our
activities. This helps familiarize the children with the rest of the
school.
- We try to make outdoor play part of every
class period.
