Mrs. Anderson has been a teacher at SJAS for over 30 years. She has taught 1st and 2nd grade. Mrs. Anderson attended the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN.

Mrs. Anderson and her husband Dick have 4 children – Nate, Matt, Mary, and Emily and 8 grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson enjoys walking, sewing, crafting, and spending time with family. She LOVES to collect Children’s books! She has received the LEEA (Leadership in Educational Excellence) Award and is listed as a Who’s Who Among American Educators.

About the Classroom

In Science we learn the life cycle of animals and watch the process with butterflies, tabpoles, wax worms and meal worms
We do a big unit on dinosaurs
We work hard to prepare for Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist
In Math, we learn addition and subtraction facts to 18
