Mrs. Riba started teaching in the fall of 2008 at SJAS, though you may have seen her previous years as a substitute teacher. She had also been a substitute in other local districts for three years prior to joining SJAS.

A graduate of Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, her previous work experience includes working at a before-and-after school program, various daycare centers, as well as serving as a Lead Teacher at Sylvan Learning Center. Mrs. Riba lives in Rice with her husband, Nick. She loves spending time at the lake with her family, cooking, and reading anything she can get her hands on!
